We Are Down To The Bones Admits Beadle

With Ryan Green and Mike McGrath brought into the starting eleven because other players were in a worse state, Hereford manager Peter Beadle has admitted that he is short of players and will look around for reinforcements before Saturday if he can find any.

And to make matters worse Calvin Dinsley hurt his ankle during the game.

"It started to affect his game so with him on a booking as well we took him off.

"We are down to the bones at the moment.

"Luckily we've got a free week so hopefully we can rest a few as then we have a very busy weekend especially with all the injuries.

"We need to batten down the hatches, need to role our sleeves up.

"And we'll have a look and try and bring a face or two in to try and bolster the numbers a bit. If we can do that it will be great.

"I spent all last week trying to do that but we were unsuccessful with lots of things, but we'll keep trying.

"But I'm not trying to make excuses, we were below par today.

"Was it a fair result I'm not sure, but it is what it is and we've got to move onto next weekend now and pick up six points."
