John Mills Kicked Off For Hereford Yesterday. By The End Of 90 Minutes He Had Scored Twice
John Mills took his tally of goals for the season to date to 31 with another brace as Hereford FC maintained their huge seventeen-point lead at the top of the Evo-Stik League Southern Division One South & West table on Saturday writes Steve Whitney
The Bulls saw off seventh-placed Swindon Supermarine 2-0 at Edgar Street in front of another excellent crowd of 2,640.
They saw Mills open his and the Bulls account from the penalty spot after 26 minutes and seal victory with a second on 66 minutes.
Tiverton Town maintained second spot after a 2-1 win at Cossham Street against sixth-placed Mangotsfield United.
Owen Howe after 13 minutes and then Nick Hurst 8 minutes from time were the Tivvy marksmen – Ryan Batten`s reply not arriving until 4 minutes into stoppage time.
Taunton Town are third and a brace from Jordan Rogers after 25 and 39 minutes were enough at Wordsworth Drive to see off Yate Town.
Salisbury FC moved into fourth spot as a consequence of their 3-1 win at the Ray Macc against Paulton Rovers and Evesham United`s surprise home defeat by lowly Slimbridge.
A crowd of 619 saw Tom Whelan after 19 minutes, Eddie Perrett right on half-time and Tommy Wright on 64 minutes give the Whites a three-goal cushion that Nathan Legge reduced by one 2 minutes from time.
Evesham led through Elliot Kennedy`s 29th minute goal – but that lasted barely a minute as Jack Sklenar immediately equalised.
Slimbridge broke Eveshamk hearts with a goal in the first minute of stoppage time from Mason Lewis.

Bottom side Bridgwater Town look down and doomed after a 3-0 Fairfax Park defeat against Barnstaple Town left them fourteen points adrift of the safety-mark.
Ryan Turner after 2 minutes, Steve Holland on the half-hour mark and Turner again 15 minutes from time were the Barum scorers.
Second-bottom Wantage Town are also looking for snookers after going down 2-0 at Alfredian Park to Shortwood United.

AFC Totton moved up to eighteenth after a 2-1 win at home against Didcot Town, Nat Sherborne and Charlie Gunson outgunning George Jeacock.
Joe Bates scored the only goal that earned Bishops Cleeve the points at home against Winchester City, while Josh Egan bagged a brace for Larkhall Athletic as they shared a 2-2 draw at North Leigh, whose Michael Hopkins and George Seacole were on the mark.
