Ronaldo At Hereford Cathedral

After his visit to Wembley last Sunday, Ronaldo was out and about again today with a visit to Hereford Cathedral.

The Hereford Bull was at the Cathedral to launch the 2016 Royal Three Counties Show.

"I must say Ronaldo has to be one of the most unusual visitors to the cathedral," said the Dean of Hereford.
The Very Reverend Michael Tavinor Dean of Hereford Cathedral said: ‘I must say Ronaldo has to be one of our most unusual visitors to the cathedral, but what better way to celebrate the fantastic show we have on our doorsteps.’ - See more at: http://www.soglos.com/culture/40693/Pedigree-bull-visits-Hereford-Cathedral#sthash.nRiVKRFT.dpuf

A champion pedigree bull, named Ronaldo, was welcomed to Hereford Cathedral on Friday 27 May 2016, to launch the 2016 Royal Three Counties Show.
Ronaldo met with a host of representatives from the county as they paid homage to the show’s Herefordshire heritage, standing just footsteps away from where the Three Counties Agricultural Society was founded in 1797.
The Very Reverend Michael Tavinor Dean of Hereford Cathedral said: ‘I must say Ronaldo has to be one of our most unusual visitors to the cathedral, but what better way to celebrate the fantastic show we have on our doorsteps.’
Ken Nottage, CEO of the Three Counties, said: ‘The Three Counties Agricultural Society is deeply rooted in Herefordshire and it was an immense pleasure to return to where it all began, taking with us Ronald, an impressive representative of Weston Ciders Bounds Herd and the finest in agriculture.
‘This year is to be a momentous year for the Royal Three Counties Show as we also welcome HRH Princess Royal and The Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery. We cannot wait to share the show with our great many visitors as we open the gates in June.’
Taking place just a hop, step and a jump across Gloucestershire’s border, the Royal Three Counties Show boasts country pursuits, British farming, television personalities, entertainment galore, and food and drink, making it England’s largest farming and equine event.
