News Round-Up

Former Bulls loanee Chris Weale has signed a new contract with League Two Yeovil. The 33 year old will also combine the playing role with being goalkeeper coach. Torquay have now axed 11 full time members of staff since their takeover. The latest to go is the Operations Manager, who had been with the club for the past four seasons.

Coventry Sphinx have signed Nic Evangelinos to play when available. The forward scored five goals in five games for Sphinx last term and will play when his university course in Manchester allows. Jonathan Gould has survived a backroom cull at West Brom. He was appointed as goalkeeper coach back in February and will remain in his post with two of the backroom staff leaving.

Darlington say they have delayed their planned return to the town due to a number of legal and commercial issues with the relocation to Blackwell Meadows. They have managed to get a grant from the Football Foundation for part of the work, and are now aiming to be in their new home in late Autumn rather than for the first game of the season.
