Hale Interviewed By BBC H&W

Jon Hale Talking At A HUST Meeting In August 2013
Jon Hale, the leader of the business group hoping to take over the leases of Edgar Street, was interviewed by BBC Hereford and Worcester's sports editor Trevor Owens last Saturday.

"We've got to meet with the Council fairly soon, hopefully next week, to talk about what the process will be for applying for the leases and becoming a new tenant at Edgar Street," said Hale.

"And we have a meeting due next week with the supporters trust as well.

"So things hopefully will start to move in the next ten days."

Owens reminded Hale that they had to apply for a league by the end of March.

"The FA will want to put us into a league that is suitable but we can't do that unless we have a ground that to play from.

"So the council are aware that they do need to try and move quite quickly with this."

How has it gone so far working with the Trust was the next question.

"It's been fantastic. We believe that the sum of the two parts is absolutely key to what the proposal is on the table, that they have expertise in certain areas and we have expertise in other areas.

"It's a case of dove-tailing that and moving forward together and that's a really important part of our proposal."

Owens mentioned that as the Trust is democratic they will need to vote on things.

"That is something we are totally in agreement with. That's the way the Trust is run and that's correct.

"Members of the Trust will have to give their board the mandate to partner up with us.

"We have to be transparant and make sure that members of the Trust believe in our proposal and I'm hoping we are getting to that point."
