Fans Aim To Attract National Coverage At Aggborough

Last night it was suggested on the Bulls Banter forum that Hereford United supporters turn out in force at Kidderminster Harriers home game against Welling. The game kicks off at 7:45pm on Wednesday 8 October and has been been chosen to be broadcast live by BT Sport.

Supporters are encouraged to attend this fixture to gain much needed media attention, to show support to Harriers and as a statement to Tommy and co.

A number of fans have already shown their intent to attend on the Hereford forums. BN tried to gauge people's views on Twitter:
@stewlinnane: @Milward1989 @BullsNewsBlog bring it on. If Kiddy ok with it then it could work. #WeWantOurClubBack
@mattyrowe__: @MattQuinn75 @BullsNewsBlog @Milward1989 the away end is split by that metal fence, maybe we could have one half?
@KHFC_FansTeam: @BullsNewsBlog As long as it's a peaceful protest then I can't see why KHFC wouldn't embrace it. Could give you half away end. #fansunited

Hereford's supporter team with their Kidderminster counterparts earlier this month. Hereford lost the game 2-0.

As of 10:24 this morning there has been no official response from Harriers, but with the club announcing the other week that finances were tight, a few extra souls would surely be more than welcome.

Due to there being no return trains to Hereford, calls have been made for a coach to be organised, but as yet, nothing has materialised.

Admission for the game is expected to be £14 for adults (£17 seated), over 60s, 16-18 and students £8 (£11), u16s £5 (£8) and under 5s free of charge.

The game has been chosen by fans as a great chance for the cause to gain some much needed national coverage. Supporters thinking of attending this fixture are, as always, asked to remain peaceful and supportive and to follow all the usual rules and regulations whilst inside Aggborough.

Hereford United do not have a fixture on the same night, but they are due to play Corby Town at home on Tuesday 7th.

See you at Aggborough on Wednesday 8th.
