More From Dorchester

Dorchester's Main Stand
Hereford United's first away game of the season took place at Dorchester this afternoon.

The stadium was perfectly adequate for the match and the pitch was in good condition.  Parking was at the stadium.

Unfortunately some Hereford supporters including those who travelled on the 'supporters coach' missed the first fifteen minutes of the game due to traffic congestion.

The game itself was somewhat one-sided as Dorchester, who had had the Bulls watched, were able to dominate for long periods of the game.

And it was worse for the Bulls when they went down to ten men after Sam Akinde was sent off for a second yellow offence.

Whilst the Hereford youngsters never gave up, indeed they should have pulled one back late in the game, they failed to put on the kind of display seen at Edgar Street in their first two games of the season.

The attendance was 474. No figure for the Hereford support was given but it appeared to be around 60.

Hereford: Williams, Roberts, O'Reilly, O'Neill, Morrison (capt), Barrientos, Bobes-Gilroy, Yafai, Akinde, Raminez, Eubanks.

Subs: Lewars, Browne, Mareda, Knott, Martinez (Gk).
