BN Photographer Thrown Out Of Edgar Street

Early in the second half of last night's Southern League match at Edgar Street, the BN photographer was told to leave the stadium.

His press pass was also taken from him.

Our photographer was with the Hereford Times photographer pitchside when he was approached by the young receptionist at the club.

She said that the bosses wanted him out. When asked she didn't know why.

On Monday evening former HUISA chairman Keith Dodd had told a group of supporters that he thought BN's press pass would be revoked.

Dodd said that an article reproduced on BN entitled 'On The Terraces' 'hadn't gone down well'.

When the boycott of Edgar Street was announced BN took the decision that it should continue to report from inside Edgar Street.

Whilst on the one hand that gave Tommy Agombar and his associates some publicity, on the other hand it was felt that BN would be able to provide an 'independent' view.

Update: Keith Dodd has made it clear to BN this morning that he had nothing to do with the decision to eject BN's photographer from the game.
