Beadle Stands Down As Caretaker Manager

Pete Beadle has stood down as Hereford United's caretaker manager, at least for the time being, according to a report on BBC Hereford and Worcester.

He is said to be focusing solely on his job as youth team director.

He said 'whilst he would like to stay, the club will have to overcome major financial issues in order to move forward.'

UPDATE 11pm:

Earlier this evening after the above article was posted BBC H&W's Trevor Owens updated BN on Beadle's position.

‘Not quite sure where the ‘Pete Beadle stands down’ line came from but, just to clarify, he underlined he would revert to his director of youth role as he is contracted in that job until the end of June.
He said this was always the case as he was initially only appointed as first team boss for the remainder of the season.
But, he then went on to say he would like to stay, but appreciates (as we all do) that there is a lot of work to be done behind the scenes before any such decisions can be made regarding the future structure of the management team etc.
