Burr Regretting Gumpers Interest?

Kidderminster boss Steve Burr is probably regretting speaking with Forest Green about their managerial job, with the Harriers' form slumping since the talks.

Harriers have recorded just nine points from a possible 27 since Burr was given permission to talk to Dale Vince at the start of November, 11 points less than their previous nine games. They also haven't won on their travels in any competition in seven games, including a FA Trophy loss at Bradford PA.

Their six goal mauling at the hands of Luton on Saturday also saw defender Chey Dunkley sent off. That performance left Burr angry, telling the press: "I am very angry about the result today, obviously. It is hard enough coming here anyway without going down to ten men.

"I thought in the first half we had a few good chances and Tyler's made some good saves - we were in the game. But again, the goals we conceded... balls into our box, we dealt with things like that on Boxing Day against Hereford and today we didn't again - that is a big disappointment.

"Losing Chey and them scoring to make it three only made it more tough for us."

Dunkley's dismissal is the third for Harriers this season, with 57 bookings. The Bulls have recorded one dismissal and 34 bookings.
