Number two on the Bulls advent calendar is the one and only Chris Price.
The Hereford-born right back spent ten years at Edgar Street as man and boy, playing over 300 times before a £25,000 move to Blackburn in what is now the Championship. After two years, he moved to the top flight with Aston Villa where he was a regular for three season before returning to Blackburn.
A second, shorter, spell at Ewood Park and a subsequent move to Portsmouth saw his professional career fizzle out due to injuries at 34 and he moved into the non-league game and coaching with Cinderford, Cheltenham, and Newport before seeking warmer climes.
He moved to Spain in 2003 to help with Charlton's soccer school, before emigrating to Australia. An accident in 2011 saw him swept out to sea by a freak wave.
After suffering a heart attack and complications from pneumonia, Price recovered sufficiently to return to Edgar Street in 2012 for a Legends game.
