News Round-Up

Salisbury have signed striker Ben Wright following his release from Forest Green. The Whites have also seen Friday's friendly with Bristol Rovers cancelled with the Pirates unwilling to play three games this week with their injury problems, with Exeter replacing them. Former Bull John Eustace has signed a one year deal with Derby. The 33 year old racked up over 150 games for Watford in five years before leaving earlier in the summer.

The Conference are reported to have a sponsorship offer on the table for just half of the reported £1million BlueSq were paying as title sponsors. The Non-League Paper claims chiefs are considering handing sponsorship to a charity for free in order to market the competition in favour of a full value bid for next season.

Barnet are facing up to the possibility of last-minute alterations to their Hive ground after finding they had breached planning permission. The Bees have built floodlights too high and their West Stand too long, and have submitted a revised application. Local planning chiefs have recommended to reject the floodlights, reportedly 10 metres too high, at the meeting on August 1st but have recommended to accept the additional length of the stand.

Chester want to sign Leeds pair Nathan and Lewis Turner on loan. The twins, 20, both had loan spells with the Blues last season. The club say they have already received one offer for their stadium sponsorship but will not rush a decision. Lincoln have offered trialist defender Luke Foster a deal, but manager Gary Simpson admits it's probably not as lucrative as the player wants.

Halifax have released wingers Adriano Moke and Jason St Juste. Former Cambridge man Moke and ex-Darlington man St Juste were both part of last season's promotion winning squad. The Shaymen have signed defender Lois Maynard from Winsford United. The 24 year old has played for various North West Counties League sides and had just had a trial with Rochdale.

Grimsby have signed defender Clayton McDonald on a one year deal. The 24 year old, brother of the Bulls' Rod, left Port Vale earlier in the summer after two years at Vale Park. Former Bulls forward Jason Price has signed for Evo-Stik side Ossett Town from Welsh Premier team Prestatyn. The 36 year old scored in his Ossett debut on Tuesday night.

Kidderminster have handed defender Jamie Grimes a new one year deal. The 22 year old former Swansea trainee joined the club in March on a short term deal, but is yet to debut.
