Trust On Track As Constitution Agreed

The meeting of the Supporters Trust Working Group last night saw the Trust's constitution agreed.

The constitution, based on Supporters Direct's model rules as used by hundreds of Trusts across the country, will now be submitted to the Financal Conduct Authority (formerly the FSA), for acceptance which will enable the Trust to become a legal entity.

Planning was also started on the Trust's launch night, which is hoped to take place in late August at the Starlite Rooms, with several offers of help already noted.

The Trust's logo competition was also discussed, with a large number of submissions already received and more welcome ahead of the July 5th deadline. Any schools still wishing to take part in the junior competition over the coming week can email hufctrust@gmail.com for details, while anyone wishing to enter the main competition can also submit their designs to that address.

Supporters Direct representative Kevin Rye was also present to offer help and advice to working group members. Kevin, a Wimbledon fan, also noted he remained bemused why they released Chris Bush - although he is very thankful for Harry Pell.

Even though some 20 people are part of the Working Group already, more additions are always welcome. The next meeting is on July 11th, in the Starlite Rooms, and anyone who would like to help guide the Trust into existence, or has ideas for fundraising, can email hufctrust@gmail.com to offer their support.
