"Great Coup" As Ex-Bull Rose Joins Tamworth

Tamworth manager Dale Belford says he has beaten Kidderminster to the signing of former Bull Jordan Rose.

The 23 year old ended the season at Alfreton after impressing with Telford during the first half of the campaign, telling the Tamworth Herald: "There was interest from a number of clubs including Kidderminster so it's a great coup for us.

"He's very big, quick and athletic and I think he can make a real impact. I felt last season we lacked pace at the back but we have rectified that this season.

"We are nearly there now in terms of the squad. A keeper, one more outfield player and a couple of loans will see us ready for the season now."

Belford is understood to have solved his keeper issue with the signing of his son Cameron. The 24 year old spent six years with Bury, making 78 appearances, before being released this summer. He also had loan spells with Southend and Accrington.
