For all it's obvious benefits over the old Gay Meadow, there is no doubt that from a visiting fans' point of view the Greyhous is much less convenient than it's predecessor. The days of a simple train journey to the doorstep of the ground are long gone and replaced by a tiresome hike to the outskirts of the town. Having said that, the accommodation at Oteley Road is generally good with pleasant food outlets and a bar within the "away" end. Advance tickets are available at discounted prices until 4.00pm this afternoon.

By Car – Travel north on the A49 passing through Leominster, Ludlow, Craven Arms and Church Stretton. As you approach Shrewsbury, just after Bayston Hill, you will come to a roundabout. Take the third exit onto the A5 east (sign Telford) then leave at the second roundabout to join the A5064 (sign Town Centre/Shirehall). At the Shirehall, you will find a Park and Ride car park (and the adjacent overflow car park) from where buses to the ground run every 15 minutes from 18.15 'til 19.15. Return buses leave the ground shortly after the end of the game. Parking is free with the return fare on the bus costing £2.50 (£1 U16 with an adult). There is limited parking at a couple of Pubs closer to the ground but these tend to fill up quickly on match days.
Walking from the center of town can take upwards of three quarters on an hour and it would be advisable to take a shared ride in a taxi.
Trains depart Hereford 14.28, 14.55, 15.55, 16.28 and 16.56 with the latter arriving at Slop at 17.54. The return trains leave Shrewsbury at 22.01 and 23.08. Journey time in each case is a little under an hour.

FUNBUS – departs Wetherspoons (Hereford) at 6.00pm prompt - £10. Two spaces remain as at 12 noon Monday.
