Magpies Players 'Not Paid'

The Daily Mail is reporting that Notts County's players were not paid their wages this month.

The paper states that goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel heads the list of players that are set to be offloaded in the January window unless new owner Peter Trembling can secure funding to keep their expensively assembled squad.

Their best hope appears to be Norwegian company Ludo Mobil, who have ambitious expansion plans into the UK. Owner Ivan Vollvik sold previous mobile company Chess for approx £260million, but lost most of it on the stock market, before setting up Ludo.

The Magpies' home match with Grimsby this afternoon has been postponed, one of three to be called off in League Two so far today.
