Former Bulls loanee Christian Roberts has retired from football at the age of 28 after surgery failed to fix a micro-fracture of his knee. The Swindon forward spent two months at Edgar Street in 1999 on loan from Cardiff, scoring twice in nine games. Lincoln manager Peter Jackson has agreed a new contract with the club despite them lying in 19th place so far this season.

Dean Windass has laughed off suggestions he will take the Grimsby job. The 39 year old has no plans to move into management for at least the next two years. Cheltenham have finally added ex-Bull Stuart Fleetwood to the loan ranks after a near two month chase. The 22 year old has failed to make any first team debut for Charlton since joining in the summer.

Leyton Orient have extended the loan of Wigan defender Jack Ashworth for a second month.
