Ryan Lynch, who had a trial at Hereford United last week, may stay with Crewe for another week for them to decide whether to offer him a deal according to the official Crewe website.
Right-back Lynch, a former Coventry City youngster, has impressed in two friendlies and, should he stay, is expected to be in their squad for their visit to Forest Green Rovers next Tuesday.
The site says that there are other clubs interested in Lynch's signature. One of them is believed to be Hereford United and it may be that Lynch will return to Edgar Street before committing himself to any club.
