Bristol City on Saturday

Bristol City are the visitors to Edgar Street on Saturday for the first home friendly of the season. It is thought they will bring a strong squad with them and it could mean a return to Hereford for former Bull Michael McIndoe who recently moved to City from Wolves.

Hereford supporters will be keen to see how many of the trialists who played at Pegasus last night get another game. It is expected that new signing Clint Easton will play some part in proceedings and two 'fresh' trialists are expected to be on show.

Of the trialists who played last night one in particular stood out. Lionel Ainsworth (pictured), who was with Derby, looked very sharp on the right wing and on that showing alone deserved another chance to impress Graham Turner.

The game will also give Hereford United a chance to see how the relaid pitch stands up to the recent wet weather, more of which is forecast for tomorrow(Friday).

Admission charges for the friendly are: Adults £8 and Concessions £4.

Please note that due to sewerage works the Meadow End and Floors-2-Go Stand will be closed for the game. Home supporters are advised to use the Merton Stand and Away supporters the Floors-2-Go entrance.

UPDATE 5pm: The clash of the McCombe brothers may not happen after all on Saturday. Bristol's Jamie McCombe is said to have a 'shin complaint' and may miss the friendly. His brother John recently joined Hereford from Huddersfield.
