Hargreaves Takes Turner Advice

Eleven years ago, Chris Hargreaves was part of Graham Turner's first play-off attempt for the Bulls. In two weeks time he will embark on another with Oxford.

Hargreaves, who joined the Bulls on loan during the 95/96 season before signing permanently from West Brom, played 99 times for the Bulls in the League and Conference and has gone back to Graham Turner for advice on winning the play-offs:

"I've spoken to Hereford, as I used to be there, and they finished ahead of Aldershot by 20 points, and they lost to them in the semis. I know Tony Ford, the fitness guy there, and the manager Graham Turner, and I've spoken to them a lot recently about what they went through – and they were saying the first game's vital because you've got to come back with something.

"We're looking forward to it, but obviously there's a long way to go and a lot of work to do, which we'll be doing next week."
