Woking And Halifax Extend Loans

Woking have extended the loan of Luke Oliver for another month, now ending the week before they play the Bulls. Oliver left Woking for Yeovil in the summer but has been unable to break into the first XI at Huish Park. Halifax have extended the loan of Jake Wright for another month from Bradford after making three starts in his first month. Lee Elam, having left Crawley earlier in the week, has signed for Weymouth - taking his tally of clubs to eight in two years. Dagenham Club Captain Tim Cole has joined East Thurrock United on loan to gain match fitness after a long spell out with a knee injury. The Daggers have also let Liam Francis out on loan to Ilford for experience. Cambridge have a friendly match with Peterboro arranged for this Tuesday so they can look at former striker Steve Slade who is training with the Club for the first time in five years after a three month spell in late 2000. The former Spurs striker joined QPR for £350,000 in 1996 but failed to live up to the price tag. Stevenage have released former Watford man David Perpetuini after six weeks. The midfielder, who once cost Gillingham six figures, made just one substitute appearance for the Hertfordshire side. Southport have signed midfielder Tom Field from Stalybridge.
